If you are planning to attend the GIC in Greece and you are a citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU) or Schengen Area, you may need to apply for a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C).

Who Needs a Visa
Citizens of EU / Schengen countries: No visa required
Citizens of countries with visa-free agreement with the Schengen Area: No visa required for stays up to 90 days
All other passport holders: Visa required

1. Flight (Fastest Option) 
Flight duration: ~1 hour
Cost:
Budget airlines: €30–€100 (depending on how early you book, the season, and airline)
Full-service airlines: €100–€200 (round trip, economy class)

Airports in Athens and Rhodes are about 30-45 minutes away from the city center, so travel time to and from the airports adds up.
2. Ferry (More Scenic Option)
Ferry duration: 9–12 hours (depending on the type of ferry and route)
Cost:
Standard ferry ticket: €40–€60 (one-way for economy class)
High-speed ferry: €60–€100 (one-way)

3. Bus to the Port + Ferry (Alternative Option)
