Welcome to the IBF’s Global Inspiration Conference (GIC)
A 6-day celebration of breathwork commencing on 1 September and finishing on 7 September 2025.
The 31st annual GIC will be held at the beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’Gari (formerly Fraser Island) in Australia. Join us as we breathe, move, create and connect.
The GIC is an international transpersonal event that honours the non-ordinary, the sacred, the ecology and our humanness. We seek loving, right relationships, balance, joy and love. The theme for this conference is ‘Conscious Breath and the Field of Unknowing’.
Come celebrate with us in the ‘Field of Unknowing’ at the GIC 25.
ABOUT THE GIC
Since 1994 the Global Inspiration Conference (GIC), under the auspice of the International Breathwork Foundation, has been hosted in over 20 countries.
The GIC is a wonderful opportunity to breathe with our wonderful international Breathwork community. We teach, learn and receive inspiration from like-minded friends and colleagues. Breathwork practitioners, lovers of breath and curious individuals are welcome to join and contribute to this unique celebration of the breath and breathwork.
Across the 6-days of the GIC, you will experience morning and afternoon workshops, keynote inspiration, art, movement, professional talks, and evening singing, dancing and entertainment. It is truly wonder-filled!
The GIC programme has a core structure and allows for the organic creation of each day’s workshop agenda. Part of the programme is fixed in advance, while the rest is open and co-created by participants daily during the conference. Conference attendees are invited to offer morning and afternoon workshops. The open programme includes presentations, workshops, discussion topics and other activities related to breathwork, embodiment and/or the conference theme. All of these activities are offered in a spirit of peer-group exchange and inspiration. GIC also hosts the IBF Annual General Meeting, which has evolved into a unique democratic process for decision-making. Members have been inspired by this to apply in their own organisations to great positive effect.
