ABOUT THE GIC TEAM
Name: Mirabai Rose (she/her)
Bio: Mirabai lives on Yuin country, South Coast NSW, and is a long-term IBF member and Breathwork Trainer in the lineage of conscious connected breathwork.
Mirabai has held positions as President (Australian Breathwork Association), Integrity Committee of the IBF, and Diversity Officer IBF.
Mirabai has a passion for ethical and professional breathwork training, living in right relationship with our deep ecology, and being open to huge amounts of joy. While all of that sounds very important, Mirabai is mostly skilled at enjoying the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, sitting by fire and just generally enjoying the simple joy of life with her wife Fey, cat Sage, and their beautiful family.
Further information about Mirabai is available here.
Name: Joshua Wrest (he/him)
Bio: Joshua is a breathwork practitioner and psychotherapist based on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra), offering private, group breathwork sessions, as well as retreats. A member of the IBF since 2018, he was deeply inspired by the international breathwork community after attending his first GIC in California in 2019. He views breathwork as a relational, embodied practice—an exploration of the self, nature, and everything beyond the mind. Joshua is passionate about exploring different spiritual and embodiment practices from all over the world. He spends a lot of time in forests and sitting by rivers, being drawn to the wisdom of earth-based traditions.
Further information about Joshua is available here.
Name: Fey Rose (she/her)
Bio: Fey’s journey is about love and joy. She feels that love is a beautiful and awakening pathway that opens to transformation, and joy is her guidance in life.
Fey loves being outside in the elements, in movement, living in truth and simplicity. She is drawn to unspoken communication and living in relationship with the land and her flora and fauna. Fey walks her path hand in hand with her wife Mirabai. She passionately plays the Viola da Gamba and loves hanging out with her cat. She enjoys working with CCB with 1:1 sessions, groups and co-facilitating trainings/retreats with Mirabai. Fey is an IBF National Representative for Australia.
