The Final Letting Go: Exploring the Surrender Process - United States

Lauren Cafritz (she/her) & Ari Barkan (he/him) – United States of America
Afternoon Workshop: The Final Letting Go: Exploring the Surrender Process Lauren & Ari, both from the USA, return to the GIC, bringing their years of experience and passion for breathwork. This year they are offering a workshop titled “The Final Letting Go: Exploring the Surrender Process”. This workshop is a breath session like no other. The Surrender Process is a powerful guided, group-supported healing experience. This method is centered on the concept that the ability to ‘let go’ is what makes the difference between a gentle, peaceful and even beautiful death or life transition, and one filled with pain and suffering. This was first used to train breathworkers in awareness and relaxation, and was then taken to the PTSD community as it was found to be particularly effective in the area of violence and sexual abuse recovery. This workshop provides a space of freedom and safety in which to explore the essence of one’s inner world and to access deeply rooted emotions, allowing the release of unconsciously held psychological, emotional and physical blocks and traumas. Deep tensions and subtle layers of tension are realized and released, resulting in feelings of more freedom, connection, intuition and presence. It is incredibly powerful, yet amazingly gentle.
Total length 2.5 – 3 hours

Sink into the Field of Unknowing with Gentle Breathwork - Spain

Ana Berenguer (she/her) – Spain
Afternoon Workshop: Sink into the Field of Unknowing with Gentle Breathwork
Stress is a pandemic.
It causes inflamation which is behind most of our modern world illnesses. Most of us have a very disregulated nervous systems due to our rushed lifestyle. Hurry keeps us disconnected from our inner world, our inner wisdom and the innate capacity of our bodies to restore and repair. Our minds and our environments are so noisy and so full that there is no space for connection with our wisdom and our “bigger me”.
I invite you to get into deep relaxation with Gentle Breathwork, from where you can sink into the Field of Unknowing. Through profound silence we are able to open ourselves to what we don’t know yet. It’s a doorway to new realizations. When we access those realms, our Being remembers how healing and fulfilling they are and keeps wanting to go back to them.

Jennylee Taylor (she/her) – Australia
Afternoon Workshop: Coming back from the Unknown, Soul Retrieval through Breathwork

This workshop introduces the concepts of soul retrieval through the lens of the Breath based on the lineage that came through Denise Burgess and Robyn Fernance. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to experience aspects of soul gift and soul theft through a facilitated workshop and breath swap.
Total length 2.5 – 3 hours
About Jennylee
Jennylee is Breathwork Practitioner Trainer with over 30 years personal experience with the Breath, nearly 10 years as a practitioner, and 4 years as a practitioner trainer. She came across the phenomenon of soul retrieval through her own personal process of transformation to becoming whole by moving with the Breath into the unknown to bring back fragmented soul parts . When she first started this work as a practitioner, she had a vision one day. She was out walking her dog on a hill that over looked her home town. She could see and sense the lost, given away and snatched soul energies of people all across town returning to their rightful place. Literally shooting stars of light coming down from the sky and landing back “home” entering bodies all across the town. People calling back and receiving parts of themselves that, without them had left them feeling depleted and unfulfilled. She felt the vibration of the town lift as each person consciously became more whole and complete and more connected to their soul. For Jennylee, the journey back to being whole and complete means to be centred in an internal power base that has all the resources it needs to experience the full gamut of the human experience.

‘Flowing with Ease’, Chi Kung plus ancient Taoist Meditation - Australia

Samaneri Jayasara (she/her) – Australia
Afternoon Workshop: Flowing with Ease
In this experiential workshop, Samaneri Jayasara will teach two distinct practices designed to relax the
body and mind, making it healthy and supple, open and receptive.
The first part of the workshop will focus on some very simple Chi Kung movements designed to increase
the flow of energy throughout the body, cultivate and balance the chi, and promote relaxation and ease of
the mind.
Following this, we will learn the ancient Taoist meditation technique, known as the ‘Soft Butter
meditation’. This involves a simple visualisation which allows the relaxation of the body and a movement
of energy down from the head and through all parts of the body, shifting our head-centred energy into a
more fully embodied, connected and relaxed experience.
These ancient Eastern healing techniques help to re-balance the energy of the body-mind, bringing it back
into alignment with the natural equilibrium of the elements. Restoring this balance and equilibrium
supports optimum health, energy, and mental clarity.
Total length 1.5 hours

The Power of Simplicity: Yoga as a Portal to Presence - Australia

Mark Moon (he/him) – Australia
Afternoon Workshop: The Final Letting Go: Exploring the Surrender Process
In alignment with the GIC theme “Conscious Breath and the Field of Unknowing,” this slow, breath-led yoga practice invites participants to experience simplicity as a profound teacher.
Rather than striving for an outcome, this session encourages letting go of expectations and fully inhabiting the unfolding moment.
Through mindful movement and conscious breath, participants will explore how the simplest practices reveal the richest insights, and how the act of striving can take us further away from the depth and presence that is already available now.
Simplicity teaches us to meet each breath, each posture, and each sensation without judgment, opening a portal to deeper awareness, embodiment, and freedom. By honoring the ordinary, we access the extraordinary, returning to the body, the breath, and the mystery of life unfolding moment by moment.
Total length 2.5 – 3 hours

Reframing Survival Patterns into Super Powers- Australia

Australian Breathwork Association, represented by Mark Moon (presenter)
Professional Development Talk:
The Body Remembers Your Future
We are at an inflection point in the breathwork and healing arts. While trauma-informed frameworks have brought immense value, many of us are now sensing a deeper invitation: to move beyond trauma as the primary lens and into the field of becoming—the infinite space of possibility, the quantum realm.
In the Quantum Field, the Future Already Exists
This session is not about diving into trauma. It is about attuning to the body’s memory of who you are becoming. Every potential version of you—your expansion, your alignment, your radiance—already exists as an energetic frequency. The body, as a sensory instrument, is not only remembering the past. It is also tuning into future timelines through sensation, intuition, and energy.
What if your body wasn’t storing trauma… but remembering your destiny?
This is the core premise we will explore. That your body is not merely a vault of trauma, but a vessel of encoded intelligence and future alignment. Through breath and presence, we access these future frequencies now.
From Pathology to Possibility
What if we stopped trying to fix body-based trauma patterns and started listening to them as codes of potential? What if your character structure—whether oral, rigid, psychopathic, or masochistic—was not a flaw, but a gateway? An archetypal gift in disguise?
In this interactive session, we will explore:
-
Reframing character structures as evolutionary archetypes
-
How the nervous system attunes to future timelines through breath
-
How survival adaptations become sacred portals for awakening
We will blend insight with reflection, drawing on the wisdom of breathwork, bioenergetics, and spiritual psychology to guide this shift from fixing what is broken to remembering what is already whole.
The pivot point is where we place our awareness. On our traumas, or on our potential?
Let us explore how the body becomes a quantum compass—not just for healing the past, but for embodying the future that is already within you.

Breathe and Sing: Tune Up and Tune In! - Australia

Rebecca Morton (she/her) – Australia
Early Morning Workshop: Breathe and Sing – Tune up and Tune in!
Rebecca is an professional singer, actor singing leader, and a qualified practitioner of alignment breathing.“I bring my deep work together in an opportunity to uplift and connect through the vibration of the breath, the voice and singing together”.
In this morning workshop we connect with the breath and the vibration of the voice, moving into singing simple rounds, which increase in complexity depending on the experience of the group. This for anyone who sings, has ever wanted to sing or thinks they ‘can’t’ sing.
Shaking/Tremoring Workshop - Australia

Ana Berenguer (she/her) – Spain
Body trembling is an innate mechanism we are born with that helps regulate our nervous system.
Most of us can recall a moment of intense emotion—whether pleasant or unpleasant—when our body began to tremble spontaneously. This happens because the intensity of the experience exceeds our nervous system’s self-regulation capacity, and trembling arises as a way to help restore balance.
Trembling is often seen as something negative. Many of us have been taught to suppress it, as it’s commonly perceived as a sign of weakness or illness. While certain types of tremors can indeed be symptoms of medical conditions and require professional attention, time-limited trembling that occurs in response to acute stress can be highly beneficial. When we allow it to happen, it helps us process the situation, regulates our system, and prevents the experience from becoming stored as trauma in the body’s memory.
When used therapeutically in a safe and supported setting—without the presence of an immediate stressful event—trembling can help the nervous system process and release unintegrated emotional or physical memories. Often, this happens without needing to recall the original event that created the stored memory. The body simply lets go, and symptoms begin to dissolve.

Sacred Circle Dance - Australia

Sacred Circle Dance with Suzanne Zankin (Australia)
Long ago, dancing in circles was common and central to the well-being of the community, as people came together to honor the cycles of life and the rhythms of the seasons.
Sacred Circle Dancing is a profound spiritual practice that allows individuals to connect with the Earth, the cosmos, and their inner selves. It is a form of meditation in motion, offering moments of introspection, gratitude, and spiritual growth.
There are often no words for our inner processes. Whatever it is, we bring it to the circle, the container, the “cauldron of the dance”. Inside this sacred space, whatever is going on in our lives, can be held and healed through the simple act of communal dance.
During this hour together, we will learn four dances. Circle dance is easy, fun and therapeutic.
Come join me in the dance.
