Manal AlMusallam is an award-winning trainer, author, and pioneer in the field of conscious breathing and personal transformation in the Middle East. She is the founder and creator of the Nesmah Method, a breathwork system rooted in Arab wellness philosophy that integrates science, emotional awareness, and cultural authenticity. With over 27 years of experience in human development and 17 years specializing in breathwork, Manal has trained thousands across the Arab world and established the first professional breathwork school in the region. Her teaching combines depth, compassion, and scientific understanding, offering a gentle yet powerful approach to healing and self-realization. Previously, Manal served as the Head of Training and Level 4 Senior Trainer for the Transformational Breath Foundation (TBF) in the Middle East, where she trained and supervised facilitators across several countries. She translated all official TBF materials into Arabic and played a leading role in expanding professional breathwork education in the region. Through her leadership, she established a solid foundation for breathwork in the Arab world, opened programs in new countries, and built a strong professional community of facilitators and practitioners. After years of contribution to the international breathwork field, Manal chose to continue her path independently, founding the Nesmah Method — a comprehensive, ethically grounded system that combines modern science, somatic awareness, and cultural sensitivity to support emotional and physical well-being. Manal’s humanitarian work has received wide recognition. She was named an 'Arab Hope Maker' in 2018 and was honored by the Kuwaiti national program 'KAFO' (March 2025) on Kuwait Television, receiving an award and gifts from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait in recognition of her inspiring humanitarian story and community impact. Her personal story has been featured in the national English-language curriculum for public schools in Kuwait (Grade 8) since 2018 as an example of hope and resilience. Manal has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs in Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain, sharing her expertise on the importance of breathing for wellness and emotional balance. She has also been invited by government ministries, private companies, universities, and even the Faculty of Dentistry to speak about the impact of breath on health, stress, and well-being.
