I’m Thom Qafzezi, the founder and practitioner of Inner Healing Alchemy, where I guide individuals on transformative journeys of healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. With a background in Internal Family Systems (IFS), conscious connected breathwork, integration coaching, and guided journeys in legal retreat settings, my work is rooted in helping others reconnect with their authentic selves. Everything I offer in my practice is IFS-informed and centers around the inner system of parts and the Self of the individual.

My own healing journey has shaped the way I work with clients. From navigating personal challenges like trauma, societal burdens, and professional and life transitions, I’ve learned the profound value of exploring the inner world with compassion, curiosity, and courage. These experiences have transformed my life and fueled my passion for supporting others in finding their unique path to inner peace and harmony.

Through Inner Healing Alchemy, I create a safe and supportive space where you can release what no longer serves you, discover your inner wisdom, and embrace the wholeness that has always been within you.

MORE ABOUT ME

I believe that true healing begins with understanding, self-compassion, and a willingness to look within. My passion for helping others navigate their inner world comes from my own experiences of transformation, where I learned to move through life’s challenges and rediscover my authentic self.

My Story
For much of my life, I carried the weight of self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and unresolved wounds that shaped how I showed up in the world. Growing up, I was raised by my maternal grandparents and estranged from my birth mother. As a teenager, I faced the pain of rejection when I was kicked out of my home for coming out as gay, which led to a period of homelessness and profound uncertainty.

My early struggles with identity were further complicated by the evangelical Christian beliefs I was raised with. I wrestled with the deep conflict between my spirituality and my sexuality, feeling trapped by the doctrines I had been taught. Over time, I shed those layers of indoctrination and discovered a spirituality that felt authentic and freeing, rather than constraining.

From the outside, my life might have later seemed accomplished—I built a successful corporate career, earned professional recognition, and created a thriving business. But internally, I struggled with feelings of not being good enough, imposter syndrome, and the unhealed wounds of my past. These hidden struggles left me drained and disconnected, unsure of how to genuinely embrace and own my achievements or feel at peace within myself.

Through my healing journey, I discovered the power of mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), breathwork, and the intentional use of psychedelics as tools for profound transformation and self-discovery. Reconnecting with my Self—becoming more Self-led—allowed me to create a sense of balance and harmony in my inner system. This alignment with Self enables me to access and embody qualities such as curiosity, compassion, connectedness, confidence, and clarity, which I carry into my personal and professional relationships and business.

My Approach
Today, I bring this lived experience into my work as a practitioner. I combine my professional expertise with the empathy and insight that only comes from walking this path myself. My coaching approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Conscious Connected Breathwork, Integration Coaching, and other transformative practices.

Whether you’re seeking to process past traumas, integrate insights from transformative experiences, or find a greater sense of harmony within, I am here to support you. Together, we will explore the parts of your inner system, unburden the wounds they carry, and empower you to lead your life with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

HOW I WORK:

As a certified Conscious Connected Breathwork facilitator, Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and trauma-informed coach, my approach bridges the healing power of breath with the transformative potential of expanded states of consciousness. My practice is uniquely designed to help participants connect with their inner wisdom, navigate their internal system of parts, and unburden what no longer serves them. What sets me apart is my ability to integrate IFS principles into breathwork, creating a deeper and more intentional experience for my clients. Through this lens, participants can meet, witness, and understand the protective and vulnerable parts of themselves that may emerge during breathwork. This allows for not just emotional release but also genuine healing, alignment, and self-leadership. I also specialize in supporting individuals exploring expanded states of consciousness, whether through breathwork or other transformative modalities. I see Conscious Connected Breathwork as a powerful harm reduction practice—providing a safe, legal, and accessible pathway to states of awareness that can facilitate profound healing. My integration coaching expertise further ensures that clients are prepared to work with what arises and supported in making sense of their insights long after the session ends. My trauma-informed background ensures that every session is held with sensitivity and care, creating an environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual, providing a personalized and compassionate approach to healing. Above all, my facilitation style is deeply informed by my own healing journey. I understand the courage it takes to explore inner wounds, and I am committed to guiding my clients in a way that fosters curiosity, connection, and self-compassion.
