Origin and aims of AFS, the Swiss Respiratory Specialist Association The Swiss Respiratory Association AFS was founded in 2008 by five different respiratory therapy schools. The Swiss Professional Association for Respiratory Therapy Middendorf (sbam) was added in 2020. The aim of the association is to be a centre of excellence for respiratory therapy in Switzerland. We want to raise awareness of respiratory therapy and ensure the quality and development of respiratory therapy. We are the link between our members and the healthcare system as well as professional politicsEntstehung und die Ziele des Atemfachverbands Schweiz AFS Der Atemfachverband Schweiz AFS wurde 2008 von fünf verschiedenen Atemtherapierichtungen gegründet. Im Jahr 2020 kam der Schweizerische Berufsverband für Atemtherapie Middendorf (sbam) hinzu. Ziel des Verbandes ist es, ein Kompetenzzentrum für Atemtherapie in der Schweiz zu sein. Wir wollen die Atemtherapie bekannter machen und die Qualität und Entwicklung der Atemtherapie sichern. Wir sind Bindeglied zwischen den Mitgliedern und dem Gesundheitswesen sowie der Berufspolitik.
