Profile

Tanya Gorriaran, of Cuban-American descent, has always been passionate about learning.  She began her exploration of spirituality and mindfulness while first attending yoga classes in 2000.  Propelled by her love for yogic tradition and her desire to learn, she went on to receive her yoga teacher certification in 2015.  Tanya’s fascination with Pranayama, led her to the discovery and eventual training in conscious, connected breathwork. In her studies, she realized the power of the breath. Tanya began combining Breathwork techniques with her experience as a Reiki Master and Shamanic Practitioner when working with clients. Seeing such benefits, she has since expanded to group workshops that she has led throughout the Northeast United States.

Tanya’s love for the arts began in her adolescence with music and dance being at the forefront. At the age of eight, she began playing the piano and was performing in classical music competitions throughout high school and college. Tanya has since performed with various bands and has found a love for sound healing.  Equally important to her love of music was her love for dance, a journey that has culminated in performances nationwide drawing from her expertise in Global Caravan Tribal Belly Dance.

Tanya encourages individuals to be curious and receptive in order to acquire a deep inner awareness, nourishing peace, compassion, and love for the authentic self; fostering authentic expression. She utilizes all of her experiences, including as a pdeiatric physical therapist, to assist others in becoming navigators of their expanded consciousness which helps facilitate healing, and can enhance creativity, art, playfulness and presence.
