Denis McCarthy is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, the premier representative body for Clinical Psychology in Australia. He has completed a Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (2022, 2023) which included training in Holographic Breathwork and Integral Breathwork. He has also trained in Rebirthing, Bioenergetics, Core Energetics and Group Psychotherapy (1974-1989). He mainly does breathwork in Australia but is available for international projects with a trauma healing focus, including breathwork-based healing psychotherapy groups. Denis is experienced in Integrative work that is so essential to breathwork and he incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Transpersonal Therapy, EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis and Clinical Neuro-biofeedback. He is a BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance) Board Certified in EEG Biofeedback and has been a neurofeedback practitioner since 1998.
