Science and Research Advisory Group (extended)
We are a dynamic and mixed group of medical doctors, scientists, psychotherapists and members of the community who are passionate about understanding, researching and sharing the science of breathwork.
Our intention is to provide a credible source of information and support for the community of breathworkers, ordinary members and the general public.
We meet 3 or 4 times a year and mainly in response to the IBF’s need for advice or clarification on issues relating to the science of breathwork, safety aspects, guidelines for practitioners, etc…
We collate existing publications and curate research on conscious breathing as a tool for physical, mental and emotional well-being.
We are also a melting pot for novel ideas and projects.
We welcome new members with various skills of researching, reading articles, data collection, analysing statistics, copy-editing and brainstorming on upcoming challenges and IBF requests.
If you feel passionate our activities or visions, join us.
Many thanks,
Claire Haugh, SciRAG Workgroup Leader and all the team
